First Day
I remember the evening that Isabel was born. She took all day to get here. She came late in the evening on November 27th when everything outside was still. About an hour before she was born it started to snow. It was the first snow fall of the season. It was like the outside world knew that she had been born. All was still and quite. The earth was covered in a beautiful white blanket. I remember this night like it was last week.
Today this beautiful girl attended her first day of Kindergarten!
She seriously has grown up so fast. She loved everything about her first day. She can't wait to go back tomorrow. She informed me that there are only 6 girls in her class and that she is one of them.
Fast forward a couple of years. Ean was born on February 19th. I was in my last semester of college. I did not get to see Ean on the day that he was born. He had to be watched over as the nurses and doctors flushed some fluids out of his lungs. Devin was able to support and be at the hospital as Ean came into the world. He has some great memories of this day.
Today was Ean's first day of Preschool. He went and met all new friends and learned all the rules. I have been told that he will for sure be taking over the role of the leader of the pack.

Blaine Turns One!
We celebrated Labor Day with a Birthday Party. Blaine turned one on August 28th. I can't believe it has been a year since he was born. Time sure does fly. We celebrated with dinner, presents and cake and ice cream. We also took lots of pictures.
Blaine did pretty good with his very own little cake. He ending up actually eating some of it. As for the rest of the cake, he slapped it down until it was one with his high chair. Go figure.
Happy Birthday Blaine!

Sunday Dinner
Devin and I usually do a rotation for Sunday dinners. One week we are eating dinner at my folks place. The next week we enjoy dinner at Devin's folks place. We live very close to both families so we needed a system to make sure that we are able to enjoy as much time with each family as possible.
Due to some last minute weekend changes we enjoyed dinner in the comfort of our own apartment tonight. It was definitely different than normal. We are so used to not being home on Sunday evenings. I really enjoyed making Sunday dinner. We had some friends over to help us enjoy the delicious food. I made tortellini, zucchini and I bought some more delicious bread at the farmers market. We also enjoyed peaches with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Dove Hunting Saturday
Devin went hunting today. I got to do some of my favorite things while he was away.
I enjoyed a tomato sandwich for lunch. That is right, all that is on this sandwich is tomato. I love these sandwiches!
I went to Bikram Yoga. It is crazy but I am enjoying the benefits of going.
I also enjoyed my favorite ice cream at Leatherby's.
Yay for Saturdays!

#74
Tonight I went to a high school football game. I grew up living very close to an amazing family. I can't even begin to explain how much I have enjoyed being their friend over the past 10-15 years. Their youngest son is named Willie. He is the Hunter High Student Body President this year. He is also an amazing athlete. Tonight he helped the Hunter Wolverines with their victory against the West Jordan Wildcats. It was one of the longest high school football games I have ever been to. This was due to a Wildcat injury. No worries though. It was great to sit and catch up with the family.
Go Willie!
Go Wolverines!
Willie's older sisters have some beautiful children. Here is Molly (Haley's oldest). Wyatt and Elliott are Annie's boys. Annie will be having her 3rd son on Sunday. More on that next week.
Willie is #74!
Go Willie!
